Fantastic way to spend the day!

My husband and I have been on a lot of food tours. We do one in every city we go to (we travel a lot and it is a great way to get to a get to know a city. This is by far one of the best food tours we have ever been on. We recommend Taste Santa Barbara Food Tours to everyone! The food is great, the tour is put together extremely well and Evan is a fantastic tour guide!

What a fun way to spend an afternoon, exploring some of the delicious eating establishments in Santa Barbara.

What a fun way to spend an afternoon, exploring some of the delicious eating establishments in Santa Barbara.  We visited places that were totally new to us and enjoyed some really good food and drink.
After hearing the rave reviews for Renaud’s Bakery, I had them put two almond croissants on hold for me until after the tour.  We had them the next morning with tea and they were melt in your mouth yummy.
Evan is really knowledgeable about the Santa Barbara area and the dining and drinking  places that she is especially fond of.  Thanks for a fun afternoon!

Fantastic!

This was my first food tour. At the start, I didn’t know what to expect, however, Evan’s excitement and enthusiasm for food and Santa Barbara was contagious and I quickly fell into the excitement and passion surrounding the food tour.

The walking was not excessive, and the food and service was fantastic. Although I have spent a good deal of time in Santa Barbara growing up, I was blind to the rich history of the city, and found Evan’s historical insight to be exciting and informational.

I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!!!

Great Value. Great Service. Great Experience. Excellent Food and Drink.

I had heard about similar food tours popping up on the ever expanding foodie horizon here in Santa Barbara, and so I figured that with some friends headed to town we would check out Taste Santa Barbara Food Tours.
The first and certainly not the last thing that is remarkable about this particular tour, is without a shadow of a doubt Evan S.  Evan was gracious and kind and she had a very intimate knowledge of the city, it’s history, and all of the rich culture of the not so distant vivid West.

Against this backdrop we were able to experience all of this while enjoying some of the tastiest snacks and cuisine in town.  Personally I enjoyed every facet of the tour and the wide range of ethnic foods, local delicacies wineries, and interesting personalities along the way.
I have since gotten many kudos from the group of friends that had come to visit and took the SB Food Tour.
Hats off to you Evan S.

Bottom Line:
Great Value
Great Service
Great Experience
Excellent Food and Drink

I will be back  🙂

Big Big Thumbs Up—Huge

Had THE best time, walking downtown Santa Barbara on a beautiful afternoon, with Evan Schoolnik. She is a wealth of information and fun facts, very entertaining, not to mention personable as well as cute. AND she has found some gems for her tour participants to taste. Highly recommend everyone do this tour right away! And then spread the word.

My first food tour

“I am not a huge foodie, but I do love a good time and Taste Santa Barbara Food Tours with Evan as my guided provided that and then some. I even tasted some foods that I wouldn’t normally branch out to (nothing too crazy). Thank you Evan for helping me expand my taste buds and show me a great time!”

Great experience through downtown Santa Barbara with tasty food and informative guide

Highly recommend this tour. We ate a lot of yummy foods and had some excellent wine while learning about the city and places we went. It was a lot of fun and a great value for the cost. There was a smart variety of foods to try, beautiful sites along the way, and was well spaced (and paced) out. Both locals and tourists alike will appreciate this experience.

Great idea!

Tried out Taste Santa Barbara Food Tours this past weekend and it was a great time! The food was delicious, the tour of the new Santa Barbara Public Market was awesome, the wine was amazing, and I even learned a few new fun things about Santa Barbara’s history! It was a great way to spend some quality time with friends on a leisurely stroll through downtown Santa Barbara savoring tasty delights along the way. I’ve been in Santa Barbara 18 years, and had not been to any of the locations we visited on the tour! Well worth it!

5 out of 5 STARS!

I was pleasantly surprised when I recently ventured out onto Taste Santa Barbara Food Tours. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had a wonderful time. It was just the right amount of time, yummy food and bevs. Although I grew up here, I enjoyed the local history shared by the tour guide, Evan. She really made the experience fun. I would recommend this type of outing to anyone, especially those unfamiliar with local venues. It’s a unique introduction to get a “taste” of Santa Barbara.

Use a pedometer, it’s fun to see how many steps you take while tasting around Santa Barbara.

When unsure how to entertain out of town guests, ranging in age & extracurricular interests, Taste Santa Barbara was recommended by The Santa Barbara Public Market.

We started the tour at a favorite bistro, Evan, the founder & tour guide energetic & entertaining. While enjoying samples of amazing restaurants around town, as we walked, Evan gave historical insight to the area… tasty & education tidbits, yes please!

If all food tours are like Taste Santa Barbara Food Tours, I will definitely be going on more.

The tour was delicious and Evan knows her stuff and makes it so fun and really interesting (and this is coming from a local, not even a tourist). I would suggest anyone who likes food and fun go on this tour.

Fantastic Activity and Great Value!

I recently organized a couples retreat in Santa Barbara for nine couples with very high expectations. I was looking for an activity for Saturday that would allow the group to spend as much interactive time as possible while having a great time. Despite having (I would imagine) taxed Evan’s limits at 18 guests, the experience was exceptional. Evan is an extremely professional, friendly and enthusiastic host. She is extremely well organized which is critical for this type of activity. We were with her for almost four hours as we walked the length of lower State. Her stop choices were thoughtful, fun, interactive, historical and delicious. The feedback I received from every member of the group was glowing. I would highly recommend this activity.
